Karen S. Orbe, HR Account Manager/Payroll Specialist
After working 18 years at the Headquarters of Pfizer Inc (a pharmaceutical company) in Manhattan, with 12 of those years in Human Resources, Karen and her family decided to move to upstate New York to be near where she grew up and to enjoy a more “simple life”. However, her Linkedin profile was noticed and she continued to work in Human Resources at Sutherland Global Services for 2 years. Living in Canandaigua, she desired to move closer to home and to work at Simco HR & Benefits because she shared the same vision with them of working with small companies and assisting in their HR needs in payroll, employee performance, employee handbooks, legal compliance and any other HR need a company may have. Serving in the role of Human Resources has always been a joy to her knowing that the position can help a company be more effective and productive in its workforce and management.
Karen has a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelors degree in Bible with a minor in Music Education from Houghton College.
